At Aventis Homes, interior design is not an afterthought—it is integral to how our homes live, function, and endure. We are a coastal design-build firm specializing in custom luxury homes, and we believe exceptional interiors are achieved when design intent, technical execution, and construction realities align seamlessly.
We are seeking a talented and detail-driven Interior Designer to join our growing team. This role works closely with our construction, architecture, and client services teams to translate vision into cohesive, functional, and refined interiors—from early planning through final installation.
This is an opportunity to influence the heart of the home, not just the finishes.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for high-end custom residential projects.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and millwork that align with design intent, budget, and constructability.
- Produce detailed interior drawings including cabinetry layouts, plumbing plans, tile layouts, and finish details.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately throughout the build process.
- Visit job sites regularly to review implementation, resolve design-related questions, and support field teams.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining organization, accuracy, and deadlines.
- Create professional client presentations, mood boards, and selection packages.
Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and best practices, particularly within luxury residential design.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of professional experience in residential interior design (custom home or design-build experience strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and comfort producing technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of space planning, functionality, and how interiors interact with architecture.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and construction professionals.
- Clear communication skills and confidence navigating both creative discussions and technical constraints.
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
