Job Summary:

The Construction Field Manager oversees field operations and ensures the execution of project schedules, subcontractor coordination, and timely resolution of field issues. This role supports construction leadership through disciplined communication, permitting coordination, and proactive management of field priorities.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in residential construction, preferably coastal or custom homebuilding.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing from structure through finish.
  • Proficiency in Buildertrend or similar construction management software.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital communication tools.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and municipal requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to move about active construction sites, including stairs and ladders.
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills under schedule constraints.

 

Key Responsibilities (GWC):

  • LMA (Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable) – Provides leadership to field teams, ensuring consistent adherence to company processes.
  • Schedule Administrator – Builds, monitors, and maintains project schedules with attention to sequencing and accountability.
  • Permitting Coordination – Oversees permitting workflow, ensures timely submission, and tracks municipal conditions. Tracks and facilitates inspection processes and Certificate of Occupancy closeout.
  • Subcontractor Priorities – Coordinates trade partner sequencing and proactively manages scheduling conflicts.
  • Field Issue Resolution – Identifies and resolves field challenges quickly through coordination with management, subcontractors, and design team.

Job Summary:

The Construction Manager leads the field construction team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and schedule integrity across all active projects. This role is responsible for mentoring Superintendents, enforcing accountability, and ensuring each project transitions from structure through closeout according to company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in residential construction management.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple job sites and personnel.
  • Deep knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and quality control from foundation through closeout.
  • Proficiency in Buildertrend or comparable project management platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
  • Capable of visiting and assessing job sites regularly, including climbing and physical movement.

Key Responsibilities (GWC):

  • LMA (Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable) – Leads and develops Superintendents, ensuring adherence to company systems and processes.
  • Training and Development – Implements training programs for new and existing Superintendents to strengthen execution standards and knowledge.
  • Schedule Accountability – Reviews and approves project schedules, monitors performance, and enforces corrective action as needed to meet company deadlines.
  • Quality Control – Oversees quality assurance processes from shell to finish.
  • Structure-to-Close Management – Coordinates progress through key milestones from pilings to turnover.

Job Summary:

The Permit Technician manages all permit and inspection processes for active projects, acting as the liaison between municipalities, the design team, and field operations. This role ensures documentation, inspections, and compliance remain accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction administration, permitting, or municipal coordination.
  • Familiarity with local municipality processes, Florida Building Code, and inspection sequences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Buildertrend or similar permitting software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills when interacting with municipalities and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple permits simultaneously and track deadlines accurately.
  • Capable of visiting construction sites for inspection coordination or document pickup as needed.

Key Responsibilities (GWC):

  • Municipality Liaison – Communicates with city and county officials regarding permitting, inspections, and compliance.
  • Permit Documentation – Prepares and submits complete permit packages for review and approval.
  • Plans & Inspection Coordination – Tracks inspection requests, results, and follow-up documentation.
  • Filing & Records Management – Maintains organized electronic and physical permit records.
  • Code Compliance – Reviews updates to codes and ensures company adherence.

Job Summary:

The Superintendent manages daily on-site construction activity, ensuring progress aligns with project plans, safety standards, and quality expectations. This role supports client satisfaction through clear communication and disciplined site management.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in residential construction supervision.
  • Structure-to-finish construction knowledge, including trade sequencing and inspection readiness.
  • Experience using Buildertrend or similar software for scheduling, daily logs, and photos.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Familiar with Florida Building Code, inspection sequences, and coastal construction standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean, organized job sites.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and navigate active construction areas safely.

  • Schedule Implementor – Executes project schedule on site, reporting progress and adjustments to management.
  • On-Site Coordination – Manages day-to-day site operations, materials, and inspections.
  • Site Preparedness & Cleanliness – Maintains a safe, organized, and professional worksite.
  • Completes and uploads accurate daily records, photos, notes, and ensures information is distributed to team members accordingly.
